BSU Informational Meeting

The Black Student Union informational meeting will be after school at 1:35 p.m. in the Library on Thursday, August 23.

The Black Student Union is a student led organization. It’s purpose is to enhance the educational environment of students of African descent at Southeast Career Technical Academy, to promote Black heritage and stimulate cultural awareness through discussion, training, educational and social activities.

It endeavors to strengthen and develop the bonds of friendship within the group and to extend the hand of friendship and unity to the SECTA community at large.

Community service and social responsibility is a hallmark of the club.

Membership is open all Southeast Tech students who are willing to fulfill the purpose of the club regardless of race, color, sex, religion, nationality or any other group distinction.

Club Meetings are the first and third Thursdays of the month

at 1:35 p.m. in the Library.
