About Ms. McGinnis
Hi! I’m Ms. McGinnis, and I’m thrilled to be your art teacher at Southeast Tech! This is my fifteenth year teaching art and my third year as a member of the Roadrunner fam.
I’m originally from the East Coast, and I moved to Las Vegas from Providence, Rhode Island 8 years ago. I graduated from Rhode Island College with a degree in Art Education and a studio concentration in printmaking. I was fortunate enough to find my true path in life by uniting my lifelong passion for art with my innate love for teaching teenagers!
My biggest true love, aside from teaching art, is traveling as much as possible. Last year I spent over 10,000 miles on the road exploring the entire western United States. I’ve also been to Central America, Europe, and Australia. I love hiking, Instagramming, Tik-Tokking, wearing ridiculous outfits, drinking hot tea with honey, eating avocados, and of course, Frida Kahlo. Halloween is my favorite day of the year (if you know, you know). Most of all, I enjoy spending time with my friends, and my best girl Brynn (yes, my cat is my best friend).
I love you each and every one of you all already, and I can’t wait to get this amazing, beautiful, colorful, crazy party started!
