Background: 

I was previously the Cross Country Coach at Palo Verde High School from 2000-2022. In that span, teams qualified for State 18 times including a streak of ten years from 2012 to 2022. The program collected five Region Titles, a State Runner-Up Plaque, and a State Championship under my guidance. My hope is to help Tech Cross Country set the standard for excellence in the 4A this season!

Expectations: 

• Summer Training is an essential element of Fall Success. Each athlete must prepare the foundation to handle the rigors of race preparation and intense afternoon temperatures by the time of official practices in early August.

• Simple Summer Training Goal: We want 8 weeks of consistent training by the first day of school to ensure you will have the best season of your life. I will be there guiding workouts all summer because I am completely invested in your personal success.

• Training Plans: All work is tailored to your experience and ability. I have a Plan for Athletes with no Prior Experience, as well as an Intermediate Plan, and an Advanced Plan.

• While this Summer Commitment may be new to you, it has been the formula for success that made the Palo Verde Girls program a perennial success at the State level in the most competitive division.
